Comments –

Bob Braun – My daughter, Sarah delivered my 1st grandchild, Zeke Ray Hamilton, on July 30th of this year.

Jim McEneaney – Daughter Cathy delivered my 3rd grandchild and 2nd grandson.

Marty Fiehl - Its "Last Call" for the Pubdwellers ‘General Manager! Casey, will no longer be at the bat. There's no joy in Mudville over this one.

After approximately 15 years at the helm of the Portsmouth Pubdwellers, Casey Lyman will be hanging up the cleats! Job, family, travel and all the usual stresses that go into trying to fit 32 hours in a 24 hour day has led Casey to the decision of what needs to be pruned from his life at the moment. With holding down 3 franchises, Today, Yesterday, and Gold, the Pubdwellers were active in all and a fixture in the schedule no matter what league you fired up that day. We'll miss competing against him in the 30's, 50's, and 2010's! Casey has graciously agreed to stay on a bit more in Yesterday to handle the cash rookie draft while we look for a replacement member in Yesterday and Gold.

 Good Luck Casey!

Bob Braun – I remember when I recruited Casey that he told me how TCBA changed the way he looked at box scores; how he had found a new pleasure in that simple act. Casey was a solid member of TCBA, and I will miss him; but I hope he will continue to read the box scores and think of his TCBA friends.

Marty Fiehl - Please join me in welcoming Tom Meade to the TCBA Today! Tom will be taking over the Portsmouth Pubdwellers in the Atlantic Division, effective with his next home series. Tom is well known by everyone in the Yesterday and Gold leagues, and if you made Grantville last March, you'll recognize Tom as the auctioneer with the Mafioso pronunciation of 'Tony Campana'! It would be hard to find a more enthusiastic member, as coming to Grantville when you're not even in the league yet shows dedication above and beyond the normal, sane, GM. Tom has a long history in APBA leagues and is himself a Commissioner in a league that he runs. We're very fortunate to get decades of experience with a new recruit.

Brain Asper - This was truly a great (Round 1 Playoff) series (v Silver Spring.) It took almost four hours to play as Frank Howard and I) enjoyed the playing banter and the strategy needed to win a few of the games. Despite losing, I'll remember it as one of the most classic APBA postseason series I have ever played, although it is rather ironic that the two times I made the postseason in the TCBA I lost in the first round and my ace pitcher was injured for more than 10 games. I sense a conspiracy. I wish Frank the best of luck against Mac at Grantville. He will again have to find a way to throw out would be basestealers.  But after catching five of 25 against the Legends, I'm sure Frank has that part figured out.
