Brief: Pat Hickey purchased
Franchise #14 at an estate sale in late 2006, moving the team to Lawton in
time for the 2007 season. The Angel moniker is ironic, since the
franchise was once owned by Winnebago's Darth Gilbert from 1979-1984.
During the 2011 campaign, the Angels fell once more; owner Pat Hickey
abandoned the team on the road. The franchise would ultimately be rescued
by Hereford's Steve Lyon.
