Brief: Texas tycoon Scott Brown purchased
Franchise #9 from Connecticut furniture-maker John Flood in 1981. Brown,
who moved the team to Horseshoe Bay, continues to retain operational
control of the franchise, which originated in Cleveland in 1909. The Polos have won 15
division crowns, most recently in 2017.
