The Norfolk Pilots have been re-located in Newton, where they will be known as the Indians, under the direction of James Bradley Beeman.

  Jim LaFargue will continue to handle the Jersey Shorebirds in Yesterday.  After guiding us through the transition from Norfolk, finishing the 1933 MLB Season, converting from our cash system to the communistic cash-free world, bidding on rookies and selecting free agents and XFA's, Jim L. has stepped away from the Gold side of our Retro League. We certainly owe Jim a big thank you for handling things.

  And a hearty welcome to Jim Beeman, who has been Bob Wood's dear friend since childhood.  Jim and Woody passed papers together, saved their money and pooled it together to purchase an APBA baseball game in the summer of 1962.  Woody says they must have ridden their bicycles to the post office a half dozen times a day, checking to see if the game had arrived yet. Many of you know Jim from PoViba, where he guides the Centerville Twins.  He also directs the Cincy Spears in Tom Meade's Random Players League.
