It's Fargo!

     In front of a large crowd at the Grantville gathering, Fargo Fungoes leader Jeff Hobbs defeated TCBA Founder Jim Lafargue's feisty Newark Eagles 4-2 to claim the 2011TCBA Today crown.

     It was indeed an historic moment for the TCBA as Hobbs, whose father Gerry manages the Morgantown franchise, became the first of the "New Breed" to have his name engraved on the championship plaque.

     Echoing the words of President John F. Kennedy's  Inaugural Address in 1963:

      "Let the word go forth from this time and place, to friend and foe alike, that the torch has been passed to a new generation of (TCBA managers)..."

     And so, my fellow TCBA members: let us ask not what we can do for TCBA� ask instead what TCBA can do for us, if we allow ourselves to participate to the fullest extend possible.

     History will certainly be the final judge of our deeds, but we can face that day now with the knowledge that the future of TCBA is in good hands.

     All hail the new champion. All hail Fargo!
